Replace 4K with 5k

Hi,

Hope you can help me. The pattern is telling me to replace the last 4K with 5k. also I replace last k11 with K5. This is throughout. Is this just telling me to decrease and increase? Hope you can help.

Hi Debb,

The pattern you're making is in a repetitive pattern. Each section of the pattern has the same number of stitches. When the last section doesn't require all of the stitches to complete a row, you'll see the instruction like that. Actually, you don't have to do anything. If you keep on knitting, you'll end up with that number, e.g. k4 instead of k5. and k5 instead of k11. They're the odd ends of the rows. The pattern is telling you that because then you'd be wondering why your end sections are not completed as the way other sections are.

So, you can just keep on knitting and you'll see what I meant.
