I don't get the (k1(k2tog yo) twice

The "(" in front of the k1 is a little confusing to me.

Is it a typo?

Could it be k1 (k2tog yo) twice?
This would translate into " k1, k2tog, yo, k2tog, yo". Then you would do k1 between the 2 sets of k2tog yo.

Or if it is looking like this " [k1, (k2tog,yo)] twice, then it would translate to k1, k2tog, yo, k1, k2tog, yo.

You pick which one is more likes your pattern. I hope this helps.

Thank you for your question.
