Reading sleeve instructions

by Yvette

Hi. I am knitting a child’s sweater and at the sleeve. So far, I’ve been pretty good at reading the instructions. This is where I’m stumped.

I have highlighted the section that I’m not understanding. (The -:) What row and how many stitches should I end up with.

P. S. If there are two pics, ignore the first one. I couldn’t figure out how to remove it from post. At this time my concern is with the -:.

Sleeve increase instruction
by: Ratchadawan

Hi Yvette,

Those are dashes indicating there is nothing need to be done and the colons are just to separate the sizes. If your size is fallen into the dashes area then you don't need to do anything. Just skip to the next instruction. whatever number of stitches you have on your needle is what you should end up with.

Thanks for visiting and questioning. Have a great knitting day!
