The pattern is not very clear for sure but it's a cute pattern. Here is my unedited video that I quickly made it for you. I hope this will help you out.

How to form a ridge by purling the new color row together with the current row on a needle.

I finished this hat awhile ago but didn’t get a chance to post it. It is my experimental piece. The Pom Pom can be remove when you want to put up a pony tail. Thanks to my models who can tolerates such condition. :)
