Pattern problem

by Nancy Kimble
(Las Cruces, NM)

I have a pattern that has been made by many on Ravelry---but I am having a problem. Short Row 1 (RS) K47, W&T
Short Row 2 (WS) P16, W&T
Ok
, if I do row 1 and W&T I have knit 47 sts. and then W&T which turns into Purl all the way to the end. and then how can ROW 2 be Purl stitches, since I have finished row 1 as purl stitches---so row 2 should now be Knit stitches again?? What am I doing wrong?

Problem with short rows
by: Ratchadawan

Hi Nancy, thank you for stoping by and sharing your question.
I think the problem is that you continue counting row 2 as row 1.
Just follow the pattern as it is.

When making row 1, you only do K47 and W&T. This is where row 1 ends. Then row 2 starts at P16 and ends at W&T. So, counting and working this way with other rows should correct the problem.
Does this make sense?

Happy Knitting!

Ratcha
