Pattern Abbreviations

I have been asked to knit a jumper for my daughter-in-law. I am a fairly experienced knitter but there is one instruction I don't understand.

Border Row (RS): K1, C4B, p1, k3 (1-42-),pm *k3, C4B, k3; rep from * to last 9 sts, pm, k3
(1-42-), p1, C4F, k1

I understand all of it apart from (1-42-) which occurs twice. I don't have a clue what it means! HELP!!

jumper pattern typos
by: Ratchadawan

Hi Sandra,

Thanks for the question and visit! This is so strange. I think these are double typos. Both mistakes should be corrected as k3 (1-4-2-) for different sizes. What do you think?
