My pattern tells me to repeat the last 4 rows but when I get to the 4th row it says rth row as 2nd row

I am making a childs size 2 zip up sweater, I have worked the pattern from row 1 through to the 4th and here it says 4th row: as 2nd row. Then repeat rows 1 through 4. What does 4th row as 2nd mean?

Repeat pattern - work row 4 as 2nd row
by: Ratchadawan

Hi,

Thank you for your question. This mean row 2 and row 4 are identical and you can just work row 4 exactly what is written in row 2.

Is this a way to save time writing a pattern? Maybe it is. I often wonder about this myself.

I hope this helps. Thanks for the visit.
Have a great day!

Ratcha
