W3 pattern

W3 pattern

I have a pattern that has the following pattern that makes no sense to me and I am hoping you can help

W3- Slip next stitch, K1 yarn forward to make a stitch now pass the slipped stitch over K1 and yarn forward

This pattern is for a man’s sweater.

The whole pattern is as follows

1) P3 (W3x4 P3) to end
2) K3 (P8 K3)
3) P3 (1 W3x3 K1 P3)
4) same as row 2

It took me awhile to figure this out. I made a video for you but I was tired so it probably doesn't make sense for you most of the time. I got confused listen to myself. Regardless, I think it's better than a written word. I hope this is the correct way of doing the W3.
