knitting is connected at the end of the row

by Deb Darling
(Winterset, IA)

I have a pattern calling to slip the first stitch, then knit, purl and so on. My issue is that at the end of the row the knitting continues to be joined to the other needle. See picture. What did I do wrong? How can I fix it? thanks!

Hi Deb,

You're using circular knitting to knit in rows. I think your mistake was when you joined your work in rounds.
To fix this problem you'll need to start over with the first row. When you complete the first row, you turn your work and start a new row. This will be the wrong side row. Keep knitting in rows back and forth.

Thank you for the question. I hope the problem will be fixed.
Happy needling!

Ratcha
