Knitting In the round

by Kerry Florez

I’m knitting a piece on circular needles. I was instructed to put the middle 10 stitches on a stitch holder and then work back and forth. How do I do that with circular needles? Sorry the picture is sideways. Couldn’t change it

knitting back and forth on circular needles with stitches on a holder in the middle.

Hi Kerry,

Thanks for the question and visit.
Once you place 10 sts on a holder, you keep on knitting until you reach the stitch holder.

Now begin knitting in rows back and forth using the same circular needles. Your first row will be on the wrong side and it should be at the beginning of a holder. You just keep going back and forth just as you work with straight needle.

I hope I explain it good enough so that you can see the picture. I sure hope you can work it out.

Have a great day!

Ratcha
