Knitting in the round

by Diane

I am knitting a dog snood and started on the 4 needles which is in the pattern instructions. I decided to go with the magic loop knitting. After knitting 8 rows, the directions say to knit 10 stitches from needle 1 with my red yarn and put them on a safety pin.
And then knit the rest of the stitches flat with another size needle.
How does this work from the 4 needle to the loop?

Hello Diane,

Now you have the yarn end at the end of needle #3.
Use this same yarn and another size needle to work on the wrong side of fabric starting with needle #3, then 2 and 1. Then on the next row, you will work on the right side from needle #1 to # 3. Keep working back and forth as per direction.

I hope this helps explain the situation. Thank you for sharing your question.

Have a great Sunday!

Ratcha
