Join front & back on sweater

by Mary Grace

To join the front to the back of my sweater my pattern says to "unravel last stitch of the back and k2tog with first stitch of the front." What does this mean and how do I do the unravel?

Hi Mary,

It means to take it apart or undo it. You take apart the last stitch on the back piece and put it on a needle together with the first stitch of the front piece and then you knit these 2sts together.

I hope this makes sense. Thanks for the question.
