Instructions Fishnet pattern

by Susan McCaleb

Pattern calls for yarn in front slip purl stitch when knit next stitch. Do I drop the yo in following row , which calls for all knit so as not to increase # of stitches and leave a hole. It is sort of a fishnet pattern. They don't give that instruction.

Hi Susan,

On your current row, do the yarn in front, slip the purl st, knit, and then pass the purl st over the knit st. This is usually the way the fishnet or eyelet pattern is done without increasing a st. On the next row you can then just knit all the stitches.

Thanks for the question and visiting. Have fun knitting!
