Tried several different ways of doing this but always end up with more stitches than I should . Really struggling. M1(Yfd), slip over purl wise, k2 tog, paso

increase stitch

Hello Edna,

Thanks for stopping by and the question.
I think it is possible that the "M1 (yfd)" supposes to be an increase of yarn forward only. The "yfd" is in the parenthesis makes me think that it suggests to use yfd when making an increase otherwise it would use the comma in between.

What do you think? Try that and see if you'll come up with the correct number of stitches.
