I am knitting a rollneck slipover jumper

by Janet
(Great Britain )

I am working on the back at the moment, I am stuck on Shape sleeves. The pattern says working extra sts in St St Inc 1st at each end ow next 5 rows(85sts). Then it says place a marker 20sts inside one edge. Then continue straight until work measures 21cm from marker, ending after a p row. After that I have got to shape shoulders

Hi Janet,

Thanks for the question.
This is how I understand from the instruction you gave me.
You will increase a stitch on both ends for the next 5 rows (should gain 10 sts when complete). Then place a marker on the 20th stitch of one end. This can be left or right. This is just for a measurement purpose. You then continue working straight without increasing until work measure 21 cm from the marker. Ending with a p row.

I hope this isn't too confusing.
Have fun needling!

Ratcha
