Have tried bobbins but what is the best way to change or add colors. Making an Xmas stocking from a graph.

I'm not sure what the best way for other knitters. For me, I like to just pick up a new color yarn and work the pattern for a while. I would go back and fix the ends of yarn that left hanging. I would weave it behind work. If you have to cut the first color yarn off then you should tie it together with a new yarn once and then weave them in the opposite direction.
