How many stitches should be left on a needle when you complete turning heel on a sock using 26 stitches? Is there a formula?

Hi Judy,

Your whole sock has 26 sts and you're using half of them for the heel turn. So you should have 13 sts left for the top of the sock. The common formula is to use half the number of stitch for a heel turn.
