How do I do my first row

I'm doing a small puppy jumper. I cast on 37 stitches. My row1 says slip1,knit4 then rib-k1,P1,K5 that's what it says for the first row do I repeat slip1,knit4,then rib-K1,P1,K5 until my 37 stitches are done

Hi Line,

Sorry for the wait. There is a bit of questions waiting in line but I'm here now.
From what I see here in your question. It looks like you'll only need to k 5 once for the end border.
So you do sl1, k4, do k1,p1 ribbing until you get to last 5 sts, then knit them.
