How do I add stitches back on to the needle from the stitch holder

Question

My pattern says slip the stitches from the stitch holder back on needle and pick up half on each side of middle part. How do I do that?

Answer

This means you have to put those stitches on the holder back on to your woking needle. After you put them back, you then need to pick up half of all sts you've got on each side of the middle part. ( I have no idea what are you woking on). Is it possible to link me the pattern? So that I can explain it better.

You can just comment back on this post and I should get it.
