by Suzanne King
(Perth Western Australia )

If the patten k2tg 4 times and yarn over only 3 times I am loosing 1 stitch every section of the patten so over the row I have lost 10 stitches how do I get this to work in the blanket.

Row 1: k2tg, k2tg, yarn over k1, yarn over k1, yarn over k1, k2tg, k2tg, till end of row. So in this row I’ve lost 10 stitches.
Row 2: knit to end.
Row 3: knit to end.
Row 4: knit to end.

Hi Suzanne,

You actually don't loose 10 sts because the yarn over sts are the increased sts. They will make up stitches loose during the k2tog sts.

You will loose just one st for this decreasing row.

You can learn more about yarn over at; https://www.to-knit-knitting-stitches.com/yarn-over.html#gsc.tab=0

Thanks for the question!

Ratcha
