Can I substitute half fisherman’s rib for full fisherman’s rib - done a swatch in half FR and it’s the same tension as required for full

I like your idea. As long as it has the same swatch, I think you're safe. I would substitute. I also love the look of full fisherman rib more than the half one.

I finished this hat awhile ago but didn’t get a chance to post it. It is my experimental piece. The Pom Pom can be remove when you want to put up a pony tail. Thanks to my models who can tolerates such condition. :)
