Explain Seed Stitch Direction Please

Question

I have an uneven number of stitches, worked in a moss stitch. The directions read: moss stitch until 1 stitch before end, k1. So, will I have 3 knit stitches in a row at the end?

Answer

Your should either have 2 knit sts or 1 knit stitch at the end of the row depending on the seed st pattern.
The direction of the pattern above wants you to knit the seed st pattern until you come to the last st of the row. Then knit that last st. You do not need to add any more st before the last one.

In your case, you should have 2 knit sts at the end of the row because your st before the last one is knit.

I hope this helps and thank you for submitting your question. I will share this with other knitters.

Have a wonderful evening!
