Enlarging a pattern

by Laura

I've just completed a child sized afghan. It's pattern was done over 104 stitches. If I were to double the stitches to 208, would the pattern still work?

Enlarging a pattern

Hi Laura,

Thanks for visiting and questioning. Yes, of course you can enlarge the pattern. Look at the child pattern and see the pattern part that you have to repeat before the closing border. Add multiples of repetitive part to as many parts as you want. The number of the stitches might not come up to the double but it will be close. I hope I don't confuse you even more. Let me know if you want me to help further.

Happy knitting!
Ratcha
