Double knit trouble

My double knitting is getting odd dented rows and I can’t find anywhere what it could be from. Is my tension too tight or is something else going on? It’s denting on both sides on a couple of rows and it doesn’t seem anyone has ever seen or done this as it’s never mentioned as a mistake in double knitting (at least in the searches I’ve done online).

I knew you did. That's why it's so strange. It could have been the tension or the yarns.

I’ve used the same size needles for the whole project, 4.5 mm/US 7.

Hi Angel,

Thank you for sharing your double knit trouble with us. Isn't that weird? I wonder what'd happened to it. it looks to me like the dented rows were knitted with very much smaller needles causing stitches to packed together tightly.
