Don't understand


I'm knitting with 32 stitches on the needle. With right side facing work 12 sts, k2 tog (13) sts (back) attach another ball of yarn, bind off next 3 sts, k 2 work remaining 13 st, 14 sts (front) turn together. I'm not understanding if I work across or just on the first 13 sts ?

You work the 12 sts, k2tog for the back part first.

Then you attach a new ball of yarn and do the bind off and k2tog for the front.

So basically you work across the whole 32 sts but with 2 different ball.

The next step will be working each part separately with its own ball of yarn.
