doing sl st, k2tog, psso, with only 2 st, as directed in pattern, not 3 st

sl st-k2tog-psso i understand how to do this; however, the instructions read k1, yo, knit to 2 st before marker, sl st-k2tog-psso, replace marker, knit to end. this stitch requires 3 st, not 2 st before marker. pattern is mowbrys the Fade and it is part one row 1. the instruction is repeated many times in every page of the pattern, so im stymied

Hi Mary,

I think you meant to write Mowby's the Fade. I couldn't get in the pattern because it's not free. I think the best option here is to contact the designer thought Ravelry.com.
