Divide for fronts and back

Hi,

The pattern says k18 k2tog which I have done then it is k1 across sts of right front and turn leaving remaining st on spare needle. Which sts do I leave on spare needle please.

I don't know what your lay out is.
I'm assuming you are knitting in round for front and back in one piece. Now you are getting ready to divide into front and back.

When there is a turn like this, usually you would leave the rest of the stitches on the left needle unworked. You can transfer those stitches that are just right after the right front to a holder. Then begin working on only the front.
