Voliere yarns from Knit Picks

Creating a pocket

by Kaitlyn
(Cambridge, ON, Canada)

My sweater pattern reads:
Divide for pockets
Next row- k14, turn, using a spare needle cast on 27 stitches for left pocket lining. Work 31 rows on these sts finishing on a wrong side row
Next row- k28, cast off remaining 13 sts. Leave sts on needle. Break off yarn. Rejoin yarn to remaining sts.

I have way too many questions about this section and I’m not sure how to start. Could you help me break this down into clearer steps that I can understand better? Any help is greatly appreciated

Hi Kaitlyn,

I've been studied this pattern for days and it's still very confusing to me. I think the best thing to do is to contact the designer and I'm sure you'll get a good explanation. The needle mentioned in the pattern for 5.5mm is size 9 not 5.

Sorry I couldn't be much of a help.

Ratcha
