Cord of circular needles broke during castoff. How do I fix this?

by Dianne

As I was finishing a blanket, the cord of my circular knitting needles broke. I have stabilized most of the stitches with straight cardboard picks, but how do I finish casting off? Is there a way to work a new set of needles into this last row and finish casting off? Thanks!

Oh, thanks goodness you almost finished.
You can try using big eye needle and yarn to thread through all the stitches that are left. Then use the same needle to bind off the rest of the stitches to maintain the original gauge.

Thank you for the question. Hope it all goes well.
