Converting a pattern


Hello, I have purchased a child's waistcoat pattern in chunky knit, however it specifies cable stitch and I would prefer just to knit it plain. Is it ok to do this please? Many thanks. Rosie

Hello Rosie,

Yes, of course you can. You can just substitute the stitch you want in the cable area. It will work just fine.
