I'm making a tiny Christmas wreath. It says :"Cast on 5 st.in green.Knit & Purl 5 rows green.Knit & purl 2 rows in red."My question is: do I have to cut the red yarn and start over each time or can I hold it in the back? I'm confused!

Hi Sue,

I normally carry the yarn along as I go. Just make sure to wrap the working yarn around the non working yarn every few rows. You don't have to cut the yarn if you don't mind the way it looks.

Thanks for the question and visit.
