Cast off the YO

by Mana
(Japan)

Is it possible to cast off the YO on needle?

Hello, I am Mana.
Thank you for creating this website.

I work short rows now, and my question is here.
If I keep this pattern, last row has YO on the needles. But I have never cast off YO by 3 needles bind off.
Bind off the YO is possible? And if so, it wil not space like a hole?
This is not YO bind off.

Sorry for many question.
I hope you understand what I say.

Cast off on a yo row.
by: Ratchadawan

Hi,

No problem at all. Thanks for asking. It is possible to cast off on a YO row but you will end up with a hole that is not too pleasant to look at. I'd rather purl or knit one more row to finish off that YO and then cast off the next row. This will make your work look much neater.

Thanks for sharing your question,
Ratcha
