My pattern states: Cast off 2 stitches, * cast 2 stitches back on left hand needle, cast off5 stitches, repeat from * to end
Can’t seem to get it looking like pattern.

Sorry for a late reply. My web host went down.

I'm not sure if I'm right or not but I tried. See if it looks like the pattern. Here is what I did.

Cast off 2 sts * Then place a st on right needle back on the left, cast on extra st onto the left needle. Cast off 5 sts from the left** then repeat from * to ** to the end.
