Block pattern

Row 1(rs) Beg with 4th st of chart, work to rep line,work 18-rep of chart 4 times, then work first 6sts of rep once more for size 36 chest/bust. Cont foll chart..

Question: why begin with 4th st of chart, row 1 (rs)?

Question: begin with 4th st of chart on all right side (rs)rows or just the first right side row of each new pattern block(32 rows)?

Hello,

Why begin with 4th row? Because according to the designer the forth row of the chart works out best for your size. You only need to begin with the 4th row on the first block of the right size. Then complete the rest of the blocks with the exception of the last block.
