binding off

My pattern says:

At beginning of WS rows, bind off 5 sts 5 times, at the same time.

Does that mean I insert my right hand needle into 5 of the stiches on the left
, and bind them off together?

Thanks so much! Confused!

binding off

You bind off 5 sts a the beginning of WS rows for 5 times. This is one set of the instruction. You would do bind off every time you are working on the wrong side rows for 5 time. And at the same time, (here comes another set of instruction) meaning while you're doing the bind off, you're suppose to work on something else like the other side of the piece. You have to look at the instruction that come after "at the same time" to see what else you have to do. So, you have 2 sets of directions that you have to pay attention to.

Thanks for the question. Have fun knitting!
