Adding a Darth Vader Helmet to an Afghan

I am knitting an Afghan using an acrylic/cotton blend yarn. I want to add a Darth Vader Helmet-can I use just an acrylic yarn-there is no plain black in a blend.

Hi,

Yes, that is totally okay to use acrylic yarn. Just use cold water to wash when needed so that all fibers remain in their original shapes.
