(Increase into next st knitwise).twice..what does this mean please?

How do I( increase into next st knitwise) twice? If I take this literally, it increases my stitch count by 6, and throws the cable pattern off. SirdarJourney pattern 8267

increase into next st knit wise twice

Hello Jeffery,

Thanks for your question.
The instruction says " ( increase into next st knitwise) twice". This mean to increase into next st (that stitch becomes 2 sts), and then you move on to the next st and increase it too (Don't increase into the same stitch twice). Now you have increase 2 sts in a row. You should have only 2 increased sts between these 2 sts you just worked.

I hope this makes sense and I hope I'm right.

Have a great night!

Ratcha
