Help with decreasing raglan sleeve

by Dee
(Uk)

I’m a bit confused with shaping raglan armholes. Pattern says dec 1 st at each end of next and following 11
Alt rows, and then on 8 foll 4th rows, which should give me my end result of stitches. Does this mean I knit 22
Row but only decrease every other one (11 rows) and then knit 8 rows without decrease and then decrease on the next 4th row and so on?

Raglan sleeve decrease
by: Ratchadawan

Hi Dee,

Thanks for the question.

Pattern says "dec 1 st at each end of next and following 11
Alt rows, and then on 8 foll 4th rows"

You've got the first part right. You decrease on the next row and then every other rows 11 more times.

The next part should be like this;
Dec every 4th row 8 times. So you add another 32 rows for this.

Take care and have fun knitting!

Ratcha
