6 - stitch Plait Vest - Free Vest Knitting Pattern for Boys And Girls

Description: A lovely unisex boy and girl vest in stockinette stitch with a 6-stitch-plait cable panel on each side of the vest body. Armhole, neck and lower body edges are knitted in 1 X 1 ribbing. The body of the vest is knitted in rows then joined together at shoulder and side seams. Finishing off with neck and armhole ribbing using circular or double point needles. I chose to knit this vest in navy blue because of our school uniform color code. You can choose and pick whichever color you or your kid prefer. I think the vest will look great in variegated yarn as well.
