Happy Fall!

Hello Knitters,

Tree leaves start falling (except my walnut leaves which falls all year round) and colors start changing. I see orange, yellow, deep dark red and brown everywhere. These color remind me of my Big Chevron Scarf I knitted many years back. Fall is one of my favorite seasons of the year. I'm going to miss all these colors of the East coast when I move to the west!

Driving back home from Ocean City, I spots several pumpkin stands along the way. We decided to stop at one stand which displays many pumpkin-head characters - The Indian family, bride and groom, a group of monster moaning over a deceased lady laying in a coffin and many more. The kids had fun looking at them. I couldn't resist buying yummy-looking, home-grown apples and home-made pickles. It was a fun little trip. I hope you had a great weekend as well.

This month feature patterns are;

1. a Boo! Bag - A cute little Halloween candy bag my kid and I put together. It a fast and easy project to knit. You can get you child involve making up his or her own pattern.

2. a short skirt with lacy edge - A simple stockinette stitch that has a store bought lace attach at the bottom edge. It's another quick and simple project for beginner. You can really whip up this one in no time.
