How do I know which side to start to shape the neck

The pattern says;

Shape Armhole.

Cast off 4 sets. at beg. of next row. 22(26,30,34,38,38) sets.
Continue straight until 13 (13,15,15,15) rows less have been worked than on back to start of shoulder shaping, finishing at front opening edge.

Shape Neck

Cast off 4 (5,7,8,7)sets at beg. of next row. 18 (21,23,26,27)sets
Dec 1st at neck edge of next 3 rows, then on following 2 (2,3,3,3,) alt rows 13 (16,17,20,21) sets.
Work 5 rows, finishing wormhole edge

What I don't understand is. Is this all on the same side of the garment?

which side to start shaping neck.

Hi Jean,

I'm pretty sure you meant to write "sts" instead of "sets" and "armhole" instead of wormhole".

No, the neck shaping is not on the same side as the armhole. It should be at the opposite side. Make sure you do the opposite neck and armhole edgings for left front and right front. So they don't end up looking the same.

Thank you for the question and visiting,

Ratcha,
